Fly to Madrid, but our first stay will be in Avila. Then to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, the third most important pilgrimage site for Christians:

Chillon and Gruyere, Switzerland;
Michelstadt, Buedingen, Germany;
Prague and Kutna Hora, Czech Republic;
Return from there to Tucson
Requirements: enthusiasm, open-mindedness, some historical interest, passion, and physical fitness (a bit of walking, but not strenuous).
