Exploring Earth Systems in Motion
In the Biogeochemical Dynamics Laboratory, we use (and, when possible, collect) in situ and remote measurements of the ocean, atmosphere, terrestrial biosphere and paleo-records to monitor, understand and predict changes in the Earth’s climate system. We interpret these data using statistical analyses, as well as ocean, vegetation and climate models developed at NOAA’s Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory.
