Sit, Stay, Speak: Unleashing the Science of Dog-Human Communication
Dr. Emily Bray and Dr. Evan MacLean kicked off the 20th annual University of Arizona College of Science Lecture Series, themed Can We Talk? The Science of Communication. In their lecture, they explored what allows dogs to thrive in a human world, how humans and dogs communicate, and how a better scientific understanding of dog behavior and cognition can enrich dog-human communication in the future.
