The Department of Mathematics sponsors a range of outreach activities, many of which require faculty involvement. Participating in some of these programs will provide invaluable experiences to all postdoctoral fellows.

All postdocs are encouraged to serve in the postdoc governance group or coordinate the UTA or the grader program.

Service and outreach activities should be entered in each postdoc’s Service and Outreach spreadsheet (to be updated every semester).

The Tucson Math Circle

Graduate students and faculty, including postdocs, work with pre-college students on interesting mathematical problems. The Circle meets weekly during the academic year.

Western Alliance to Expand Student Opportunities
