I received my M.Sc. from Novosibirsk State University, Russia, in 1990 and my Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, in 1996. Following my Ph.D., I spent three years as a Dicke Fellow at Princeton University (1996-1999). In 1999, I joined Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) as an Oppenheimer Fellow and later became a staff member in the Theory Division, affiliated with Center for Nonlinear Studies.
In 2019, I relocated to Tucson, Arizona, where I currently serve as Chair of the Program in Applied Mathematics at the University of Arizona.
