We are broadly interested in understanding the physico-chemical processes associated with magma generation, migration and emplacement on the surface of the Earth with implications for volcanic hazards. We also investigate volcanic eruption dynamics on the surface of other planetary bodies, such as Moon and Mars to understand the evolution of planetary interiors. We primarily integrate laboratory experiments and numerical modeling in our research with the aid of field/remote observation.
