Jacob Sivil, Undergraduate Research Assistant

Jacob Sivil is a research assistant at the Personalized Treatment Lab, He is currently majoring in Psychological Science (B.S) at the University of Arizona. His research interest lies in understanding the ways an individuals personality differences interacts with therapeutic treatments, specifically treatments for Bipolar and Depressive Disorders. His future goals are to be a full time practicing therapist. Though in his free time he enjoys biking, and playing video games.


Tanner Valus, Undergraduate Research Assistant

Tanner Valus is a Research Assistant for the Personalized Treatment Lab and is pursuing a degree in Psychological Science at the University of Arizona. His research interests are the intersection between Christianity and psychology as well as PTSD/Trauma with an emphasis on the military and combat veterans. He plans to attend graduate school for a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and become a clinical psychologist in private practice or work for Veterans Affairs. In his free time, Tanner enjoys playing sports, going to the gym, and spending time with friends.


Alexandria Halverson, Undergraduate Research Assistant

Alexandria Halverson is an undergraduate research assistant in the PTL working on Project LEAD with Angela White as their team honors thesis project focusing on digital exercise interventions for anxiety and depression. She is majoring in Psychological Science and minoring in Consciousness Studies and is part of the W.A. Franke Honors College here at the University of Arizona. Her projected graduation is December 2024, and she aims to pursue a Master’s in Counseling after to eventually practice as a licensed professional clinical counselor specializing in holistic wellbeing. Her research interests include a wide variety of alternative and integrative treatments for mental health, especially yoga, breathwork, and psychedelic therapy. In her free time, Alexandria practices ashtanga yoga and loves to travel and enjoy good vegan food.
