I am a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and in the Program in Applied Mathematics at the University of Arizona.
I have always been curious about why the world around us “makes sense” and the mathematical structures that help us understand “the rules”. Following this curiosity has taken me in unexpected directions, and it’s been a joy to explore these paths with fantastic collaborators. These partnerships constantly renew my love of learning and my excitement for sharing ideas — both in research and in the classroom.
