Congratulations Graduates!
Congratulations to Marisa Gonzalez and Joseph Schlosser for having finished their PhD degrees. Marisa is starting a postdoc at University of Pretoria (South Africa) and Joseph will start as a postdoc through the NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) and will be at NASA Langley Research Center. Also congratulations to Shruti Singh for finishing her MS degree and continuing on to work with HDR Engineering in Tucson.

Students Receive Summer Internship Offers
Kayla McCauley was selected for an internship with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency this summer, while Kira Zeider was chosen for the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) where she will work at Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey, California.

Miguel Hilario was selected for two exciting opportunities that will take place in the coming months.
Miguel Hilario was selected for two exciting opportunities that will take place in the coming months. The first is the UA Roots for Resilience Scholarship to work on data science issues in Spring 2022, and the second is the 2022 Graduate Visitor Program at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) where he will work in Boulder, Colorado for the summer.
