Welcome to FRL!

FRL is a research group in the Department of Chemical & Enviromental Engineering at the University of Arizona.

Research Goals

Our group focuses on polymer nanocomposites for energy storage, with a particular emphasis on the design, assembly, and fabrication of polymer nanocomposites with unique morphologies.

Our objective is to use fundamental principles of materials science, chemistry, and chemical and environmental engineering to enhance the electrochemical performance, safety, and sustainability of batteries and supercapacitors.

Lab Values

We are committed to building and maintaining an environment that values curiosity, creativity, and diversity. Every member of our team brings unique experiences, ideas, and strengths to the group.

Our group is always looking for enthusiastic graduate and undergraduate students to join our team.
