Block
A block in CampusPress is a unique section of a page or post within the WordPress Block Editor, also known as Gutenberg. Users can combine and arrange these blocks, which can include headings, paragraphs, images, videos, buttons, tables, and lists, to create and customize their content1.
Adding Block (3 ways)
- Use “toggle block inserter” button on the top left, next to the Arizona logo
- Type “/” to open the block menu (quick access)
- Use the “add block” button appearing on new row



Toolbar
In CampusPress, the toolbar, also known as the admin bar, is a horizontal menu that appears at the top of the screen when you’re logged in. It provides quick access to various administrative functions, such as adding new posts, pages, and media, as well as managing comments, users, and site settings.
Toolbar Overview
1. View Page button: Go to the Pages bar in the Dashboard

2. Toggle button inserter

3. Tools: Provide different interactions for selecting, navigating, and editing blocks. Toggle between select and edit (2 tool options) by pressing Escape and Enter

4. Undo (Ctrl+Z) and Redo (Ctrl+Y)

5. Document Overview (Shift+Alt+O): View the block layout structure of the page in ListView or Outline mode

6. Save draft (Ctrl+S): Save the current page but not publish the changes (only available for unpublished page)

7. View/ View Page: View the page on Desktop, Tablet, Mobile, or in New Tab (only available if that page is already been published).


8. Publish/Update: Publish or update (autosave changes for published page but not publish them) the website (based on its public status)

9. Settings: Allow configuration of the page or selected block

10. Options: Provide several options to view, edit, use plugins, and many more tools
