Hello and welcome to the Geospatial Environmental Health and Science Lab. On this site you’ll find information about current lab research and teaching activities, research group personnel, and student/research opportunities.

Mission – The mission of the Geospatial Environmental Health and Science Lab is to employ geospatial tools, methods, and technology to address contemporary and emerging environmental health and science challenges.

Our research lab emphasizes projects at the intersection of environmental science and environmental health. Our work is motivated by environmental and data justice and we employ community-engaged research methods to co-develop projects. Much of our work is with Indigenous Peoples confronting environmental challenges associated with mining, resource extraction, and water resources.
