Access educational resources for incorporating technical standards on additive manufacturing into university-level courses here!

We have developed assignments, videos, readings, and projects that can be incorporated into relevant courses to teach engineering students how to identify, access, and use additive manufacturing standards in their work. Instructors at other institutions are welcome to incorporate our materials into the courses, as well!

We have four online modules, which are described briefly below. Each module has a mix of videos, assignments, and projects. We also have additional resources, including project descriptions and rubrics.

We’ve exported these modules and resources so you can import them into your learning management system. The modules are available using the button below “as a Common Cartridge, which is a set of open standards for content, assessment, and digital content that allows publishers and content creators to create LMS-independent course packages” (quote from D2L). Some useful links describing how to import this Common Cartridge into your own learning management system are below.

Click the following button to access the Common Cartridge file. Note: this is password protected to ensure only instructors can access it. If you need the password, please email hdb@arizona.edu from you institutional email account (i.e., email address ending in .edu).
