David Manford is a Ph.D. student at the department of Systems and Industrial Engineering. His research interests include design for sustainability, data science, energy systems and manufacturing. One of his notable projects involved the design of a smart elderly care device called the Memory Glass which is to aid Alzheimer’s patients. He completed his MS in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University where he was also a Mastercard Foundation Scholar.
